Kent Wafers Conquering the EU Market: Exports Achieved in 17 Countries
The company AS from Jelah, the producer of Kent wafers, has successfully started to conquer the European market within just a few months of production on new, modern equipment.
The company reports that Kent wafers are now exported to as many as 17 countries, including Germany, Croatia, Montenegro, the USA, Australia, Sweden, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Kosovo.
Exports increased by an impressive 110% from 2022 to 2023, with 61% of total Kent wafer production going to international markets—clear proof of the quality of this domestic brand.
“This success is a major milestone for our company and a testament to the premium quality of our products. Kent wafers have brought innovation to the confectionery category with new flavors, and consumer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The Maze flavor, hazelnut, and the new lemon wafer have quickly won over even the most demanding dessert lovers. We are proud to have met our consumers’ expectations and provided them with a product they truly enjoy. Repeat purchases are a clear indicator of our success,” said Amira Ćeman, Kent’s brand manager.
AS Jelah also anticipates significant growth in 2024, with new collaboration agreements already signed. This, they say, will enable further expansion of the Kent brand into new markets. Additionally, new flavors and limited-edition Kent wafers are set to launch in 2024.
“We believe these new products will further delight our customers and offer them even more variety and enjoyment. AS Jelah thanks all our customers and partners for their trust and support. We will continue to work hard to provide the best possible products and exceed expectations,” Ćeman concluded.
